Sarah Cleverley, Treasurer and Chair

The Rep has always played a major part in Sarah's life as her mother Jillian Worth (currently a Rep Vice President) is a long-standing member. Growing up, the theatre was as familiar as home. Sarah's baby cry was frequently used as a sound effect, she did her first play reading for the Rep aged six and her first acting part was as a nine year old in the Rotherham centenary play "Riches, Rags and Rotherham".

During her teenage years Sarah appeared as 'crowd' in several costume plays presented by the Rep and became a full member as soon as she was old enough. Sarah has been involved with many plays in different capacities - acting, backstage, set design and build, producing and directing.

Sarah has been on council for several years and has previously been Rep Treasurer and RODA representative.
As Chair of the Rep Sarah is keen to create a welcoming, inclusive company that is innovative and forward thinking whilst seeking to maintain Rep standards.
