Rotherham Rep celebrates 100 years!
To mark its centenary, Rotherham Rep is proud to release The History of Rotherham Rep — a new online publication created by Paul G Daniels, telling the story of the Company from its beginnings as the Northfield Players in 1926 to the Rep of today.
More than a record of productions, the book celebrates a century of creativity, resilience and community spirit, showing how the Rep has adapted, survived and continued bringing theatre to the people of Rotherham.
Drawing on programmes, memories, archives and personal recollections, it honours the countless members, audiences and supporters who have helped sustain the Company across ten decades.
As Rotherham Rep looks ahead to its second century, this landmark history offers a chance to reflect on the journey so far — and imagine what comes next.
